Not everyone needs to have a fully dedicated web server however. If you're just getting started with your website, you can save quite a bit of money if you rent a small portion of the server. Shared hosting is when you share a portion of the server with other users rather than rent an entire server to yourself.     All orders are processed from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 18.00 (CEST). Activation process can be required 48h for VPS and 72h for Dedicated Server.

    In fully managed solution is not provided root access. You will be a priviledge access to manage all service and server resources.

  • What suport offered for Unmanaged server?

  • I have a problem with my Unamanged VPS/Server, what can I do?

    If you are not satisfied for any reason, you can ask for a full refund in 10 days from activation of your service. To get a refund you need to send us an email with your request at billing@vps-managed.com.

  • How can upgrade my VPS?

    You can ask for VPS upgrade opening a sales ticket from our Client Area. Operation request reboot of your service for hd resize.     Additional IP are available only for dedicated server.

  • Is it available IPv6?

    Yes, IPv6 is available, generally a /64 subnet.

  • Do you offer assistance for site migration?

  • What is your SLA?

    All our services are covered of a minimum SLA 99%. SLA if offered on connectivity VPS/Server and not on server services. You can find more details on our ToS.

  • Why I have to provide my identity proof?

    At any time and for any reason, our administrative department can require a valid identity document in order to ensure that your order is not a fraud. All documents received will be kept for 15 days and then deleted from our records.

  • Refund and Paypal dispute?

    If a customer open a paypal dispute without any notify to our sales department VPS-Managed reserves the right to suspend and terminate all services associated to customer and set order as fraud.

  • What kind of virtualization is used?

    We use only KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) virtualization who guarantee dedicated resources for each VPS, so it is not possible overselling. All allocated resources will be always available.

  • Are there are any limitations?

    As KVM is used for virtualization, there are no technical limitations on the number of processes or open files. It is thus possible to make changes to iptables and routing, and to install your own services. It it also possible to install a custom kernel.

  • Do you offer a console access (KVM Access)?

    Yes, from your Client Area you can manage your VPS and access to console.

  • How high is the performance of the vCPUs?

    Each vCPU has the CPU performance of an Intel Xeon E5 CPU running at 2.0 GHz. The actual speed in the instance may vary.

  • È possibile montare una propria ISO?

    The mounting of CD/DVD images is possible via the Client Area. To do this, select your virtual server, go to "Settings" and select the required ISO image next to "Mount CD/DVD image". Once selected, click on "Save". The image is now mounted on your server and is ready for us. By selecting "-" the image can be ejected again. Uploading custom ISOs is currently not possible but can be checked in individual cases by the support. Please contact the support to ask about this via ticket. The available images are constantly being updated.   • What can I do with a VPS?

  • Why my cPanel/Plesk is still trial?

    All licenses are activated after 10 days from activation of the service in order to honor the money-back guarantee. In the meantime you can use the control panel normally without limitation.

  • Are there any automated backups?

    We do not make automatic backups of the virtual servers, the client is responsible for that themselves. We offer backup space that can be used for this purpose. With all VPS servers you have the ability to create a snapshot of the entire server, which can then be used to restore the server to that state. .

  • Whas OS can I install?

    You can install any Operating System because VPS are KVM.

  • Reliability

    The virtual disks of the virtual servers are located on a distributed SSD-based storage system. The data is redundantly saved 3 times, and is available even in the event of multiple system failures. Therefore, the chance of data loss is very low. Please note however, that you are still responsible for your data, and VPS-Managed does not provide any guarantee for potential loss of data.

  • Why does my VM have the IP 172.31.1.100?

    The IPv4 address of the virtual server is a private IP, which is configured 1:1 via NAT on the public IP. Currently the private IP is the same for all: 172.31.1.100. The public IP is displayed in the Client Area

  • Which network configuration must be done?

    With an automatic installation, all the necessary changes have already been made for you and you can use the server right away. With a custom installation, you need to change the network configuration yourself.   • Can I customize IP reverse (PTR Record)?

    Yes, you can do this from your Client Area.
